Boris Pash: A Soldier's Story
Boris Pash was born in San Francisco but raised in Russia. He joined the Russian army during World War one at just 14 years old. Then when the Russian Revolution broke out in 1917 he joined the anti-communist side making him a two war veteran before he was even 18. Fled back to his native U.S. and went into teaching where he worked with some of Hollywood's biggest names including Lana Turner, Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney. But glitz and glamour never impressed Boris Pash because he was a soldier first and foremost. In 1940 Pash finally quit Hollywood High and moved to San Francisco to help run the US Army's Intelligence Division in Western North America
