The EU Approves New Rules for Right to Repair
The European Union has approved new rules for right to repair. All portable batteries sold in the EU inside of electronic devices will now have to be removable and replaceable by the end user. The goal is to create a more sustainable battery production chain, make sure that those lithium batteries are not just dropped into a landfill or polluting the source.
