What's Happening in Your Brain?

Your brain is predicting changes inside your body to support movements. And those changes are then the source of predictions of what you will experience next. When something disrupts us, it doesn't have to be right next to us because we have eyes and we have ears. It's just when our internal coordination, which we call interreception, is disrupted that we feel it. We don't always know this but this is actually what we're doing all the time. This is not a modern problem with politicians or even in how emotions are made. In seven and a half years I've learned more about emotion than any other teacher has ever taught before.
