The Beginning Is as Intense as It Is

I really liked that you made the beginning as intense as it is. I found a power that let me spawn one of my mechs wherever I wanted straight into the middle of the enemies. And so starting the battle with that and doing damage and knocking them around felt like yet another layer of intensity that was really exciting. Yeah I generally do like having a system that is clear and coherent and consistent throughout the whole game such as the way the placement of the enemies and the player works.
