The Internal Effects of Climate Change in Russia

Russia is once again the world's largest exporter of wheat. In round numbers, russia's making some 25 billion dollars a year from exports,. And by within another decade, that could conceivably double. As global climate warms, that band would tend to move north. At the northern end, because of higher temperatures, a areas not currently under cultivation could be sources of new production. The big question ahead is what the impact of climate change could be. Russia themselves are very much uncertain about what the ons would be.
