The Return of the Chilean New Right to the Pinochet Constitution

The country is kind of returned to this moment where in the early 1970s, the last was seen as having really sunk a previously stable country into chaos. In some sense, one can see why there would be a constituency for this because the left wing activism did bring about a great deal of chaos. It will actually re-enforce or even strengthen the right wing elements of the Pinochet Constitution. But I think the simple lesson of this all strange sort of deja vu episode of Chile is maybe they should be careful what they wish for.
