How to Create a Great Environment for Engineers

The Joel list is a resource you can look at to see just a baseline of like things that are generally normal and accepted at tech companies. Maybe you could reference this, send it over to your employer and say, hey, do you want to create a great environment for engineers because here's some things you should consider. It would be something like, do you use pretty decent tools that your employer buy? I thought you were going to say we should make like the anti-Jo list, like the Scrooge list or something.
