The History of Carbon Fiber

Thomas Edison did not invent the incandescent light bulb. Joseph Wilson Swan over in the UK beat Edison to the punch by a couple of decades. His process for making carbon fiber would become a standard. There are chemists and labs today who essentially use the exact same approach.
