The Role of Diadnes1 in Thyroid Production
The thyroid gland produces primarily T4 and a small amount of T3. The liver via an enzyme called diadnes1 converts most of the T4 to T3 that's in circulation. So where does it mostly come from? Most of the T3 comes from the peripheral tissues, bringing T4 in,. converting it to T3 using the T3 first work period of time; then releasing that T3 back out into the bloodstream.
