The School of Thought in the Japanese Military

There were two schools of thought in the japanese military. One wanted to expand into urasia from the north, which means take our manchuria and parts of us s r. The other school of thought was to expand in the south, take out parts of china,. maybe whole of china, or south east asia... And that's what they did. They had a very successful, brutal and rapid advance. But eventually, from that portion onwards, they were beaten back. That was the beginning of the end of the imperial japanese occupation of southern and southeastern asia.
