We've been in an import surplus for a post breton woods, and yet rates of just steadily lowered rates the whole time. So as domestic labor becomes way over priced, or, i guess you say, goods and services, this creates a lot of offshoring pressure. Corporations wont movet anything that can be moved off shore to satisfy domestic demand is moved off shore. And that's led to the financialization and hollowing out of th s economy. We're not designed to fix that problem, nor can they.
