Healthy people have a more diverse microbium, increasing the number of species of those microbes. These different species, essentially, like you and i, have different food preferences,. slightly different ase buds. And so when you have a diverse range of plants in your diet, your keeping more of these guys happier. There are thousands of these, but probably the most studied and spoken about are short chain fatty acids. The buterate helps to keep the mucosa layer, thegat intact, healthy along with the endothelial cells which sit right between all the microbes.
