The Backwoods in the Popular Imagination

The children and the teachers who are accompanying don't even know where they're going. They just turn up with suitcases and say, well, you're being evacuated somewhere. It's just, you know, that kind of that trust and fear that they must have had to get their children away from danger. And it seems that I recently, a lot of the British culture that I've read or,. you know, the comics set in the UK, Wales is sort of considered the backwoods in the popular imagination.
