How to Use Active Learning in Your Course

The card castle activity is best used during an in-person or face-to-face part of your course. You can adapt it to a virtual setting, but I think it would have to look a little different and students will be building on their own rather than actually collaborating. These are easy to do and they don't take a lot of time to set up. So we're going to talk about the department's five stages and how active learning works with this activity.
