During pregnancy, the pelvic floor muscles have to learn how to accommodate the s of the growing uterus. They can become tender points or trigger points that are imbedded in them and they just work harder. Most people don't realize that the palpifor muscles stretch about three times their normal length to allow a baby to come out. The most important thing is that people have a clear understanding of what's happening from an anatomy prospective.
