The Future of Intelligence

I think if we can search for specific technical signatures, like a climate change on an exoplanet or a satellite system artificial stuff like a star link system, at least then we could put a robust upper limit. But is there any hope of really putting up its intelligence? That's one thing I've seen a major shift in just the way that SETI scientists talk about what they're doing. And it kind of reminds me of this discussion I've been thinking a lot about recently my colleagues about sustainability and the future of energy growth and usage on our planet.
