"I hate the word authentic because it's been trampled," she says. "You have to be yourself in that documentary situation" She was intimidated by her first cinematographer, but he helped her out with a lighting job. The pressure is one of her favorite parts: It's just 'Oh, do tell' I'm sure there aren't any geniuses who can do it alone.
