The Tyranny of Merit by Michael Sandell

The book is ultimately a book about moral confusion and about ethical muddiness. At one point, a disillusioned activist says, all we talk about is power. Do you feel those are the words we need to be using in debates around future of earth? I think that the kind of the cost to speaking in a morally responsible way has just become so high.
