How to Train for Peak Performance

If you are expecting to come back and perform better in the second session or perform well in that second session, make sure you're fueling and recovering adequately between those two sessions. You've got to get some food in as well to recover from that energy depletion that occurs after that first session. The two sessions a day actually is I would only do that in a base phase. And if you, as you go towards peak where you want to be fresh and feeling better, drop it to one session in each day as well. Personally, I would rather train more frequently throughout the week but do shorter, sharper sessions.
