The Principle of Mercy in Israel

The rest of Leviticus 25 is basically applying the principle of mercy into various different relationships and contexts that might show up in Israel. So would it be wise for modern nation states to practice this type of economic procedure? Well, I think the procedure that's put in place is one that is really regulated to justice and fairness, no favoritism, no partiality.
