The pitch claw is the most noticeable rule change in spring training so far. "It's really hard for player representatives to embrace any rule changes because they represent pitchers as well as hitters," he says. The players reject some of these are opposed some of these, but it doesn't mean there won't be a slight increase in overall offense from these rule changes.
