David hume is one of my great philosophical heroes too. He's often kind of referred to by modern daya theists and humanists, which are pretty much the same thing. Hume was very famous for his arguments against the traditional arguments for the existence of god. But what's interesting is a story about hume se there's another little story i tell he as well.
