People have had so much difficulty absorbing this fundamental distinction between emotion and feeling, that i can see why they fail to understand the fundamental distinction. Unless you have a life, which really means a state of immense vulnerability, a state that needs to be regulated by an herculean effort, unless you have that, you're not going to have feelings. Because feelings express that in a subjective way. To talk about the internal mind of aa robot, for example, is absurd. It just doesn't make any sense. And i don't even deny that it is possible to mimic lots of things and to create much greater complexity in organisms. We just need to to give caesar what belongs to
