Atari's Space Invaders Video Game Contest
The video game contest ends up being her entry into the industry. Atari decided as a publicity stunt to have a national tournament. Becky's friend convinced her to compete in the LA contest and she won. She was flown off to New York for the championship. It was more terrifying and exciting because I wasn't there with my parents.
