An audience of true friends is not built on free samples alone. The first dollar that you charge is an invitation to have a more invested part in what you do. When i started out in marketing, i'd give forty five minute present tions. They were at local groups, and they were always free. But the problem with free is that people don't value it in the same way as they value something that cost them something.
