The Orthodox Church of Ukraine
Ukrainian Orthodox Christians claim for themselves a kind of autonomy or auto-sephaly, which means their own headship from Moscow. After the fall of the Russian Empire in the 19th teens, you begin to have Orthodox Christians in Ukraine begin to call for an auto- sephaly's church. But during the Soviet era, there was really not a lot of vitality to that. So anyway, the last five to ten years, the most important thing that's happened is the Patriarch of Constantinople recognized the auto-seaphaly's nature of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Essentially affirming in 2018 that the Orthodox Church of Ukraine is recognized as its own church proper in the communion of Orthodox
