Roxanne Jones: You mentioned functional parameters and the functional biomarkers. What would those be? Would you say that would be squat strength, deadlift strength? And also, do you believe that grip strength is actually relevant? Jones: Some of the most potent resistance training protocols for decreasing blood pressure are dysisometric hand grip protocols. But aside from grip strength, a common biomarker you'll see is knee extensor strength.
