The number one tool we have is writing. Why is writing so powerful? Well, it allows you to take these immaterial, somewhat elusive things we call thoughts and put them onto paper in a way that they can be made concrete and examined carefully. And because it's slow, it requires labor and it gives our minds opportunities to ponder over the veracity of what we are actually saying.
