The Reluctance of the Townspeople to Accept the Good Time
Like this music video reminded me of a the act of killing because it's a set up that is recapitulating like a psychological exercise, which is familiar with that. The people in the crowd don't change from being scared to going like, oh, the rhythm is infecting me until 26 minutes in. They're genuinely scared most of the time. You know, the whole thrust of the bulk of this is a classic, an entertainer performing music so good that it wins you over and you can't help but smile and dance.
