As these AI systems continue to improve, they pass the Turing test in every conceivable way. At a certain point, I'm imagining on your thesis, you will just suddenly begin to assume that they're conscious based on these performances. Yes. And indeed, what I what I hope for from either predictive processing or whatever success or success or theory takes over after that is that we'll end up with something like a periodic table of experiential variation.
