Structure and Plotting for Romance
Do you have to be a plotter if you're writing romance? Can you be a pancer? How important is it to stick with the conventions and the tropes when you're plotting something out, while keeping those action beats? Your advice, so you can be a panter? My biggest advice is to understand structure. Most jonra fiction follows structure. It's not the meandering literary fiction where things can go anywhere. John ra fiction tends to hit certain beats. I don't usually plot. But at this point of my career, i sell books on proposals, so they want a synopsis before i write the book. So i've kind of had to turn into a plotter
