Studio Z - A Brief History
By the early eighties, the drum sound on every single pop record was recorded using a noise gate. Buff sold the studio to zapper, who renamed its studio z and moved in. The studio had no shower, and zapper had to just use a sink to wash. By this point, zapper had also joined a band called the sots,. And they recorded several tracts at studio z which they tried to get released on dot records.
