God sanctified by resting. So if we rest on Shabbat, it becomes holy to us. God doesn't just say, if you don't do it, I'm going to kill you. He says, it's holy to you because you've experienced it. That's a very interesting definition of holiness and it comes from the first mention. It also has this sense of wounding something that is all like unwounded.
