Are Fast Proteins Better Than Slow Proteins?

After we consume protein, there's a lag period about forty five to 90 minutes. And then muscle protein synthesis goes up, and it peaks somewhere between 90 to hundred and 20 minutes. So what you see is, temporally, there's not this kind of perfect mirroring where we can manipulate amino acid responses and thereby manipulate muscle protein synthesis responses. These two things are disconnected in the grand scheme of things. But i've got a table here from a paper by ah man billborough that shows approximate absorption rate for different protein sources.
