When i start getting annoying in my life, i say, like, the universe doesn't know you should. You're not owed a peaceful night of rest or a conflict free life. Like, you're not no one owes you anything. That is, like, to me, the montre for my life.
Writer, speaker, and a living example of transformation, Eldra Jackson III shares his personal journey of what led to hitting rock bottom and rehabilitating his life. Eldra invites us to embrace self-awareness, accountability and empathy, or as he refers to it, “human work.” While incarcerated, his transformation was made possible by the community of Inside Circle, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating spaces for healing for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people. Now, he is the Co-Executive Director, dedicated to helping others find their own path to redemption. With riveting openness and kindness, Eldra shares personal stories and insights from his unique journey that help us all to begin healing ourselves and each other.
