The attack on our voting rights across the country is directly hurting climate action. Yale did a study back I think it was 2020, 2021 that showed black and brown people were more likely to vote for climate policy than any other demographic in the United States. State legislatures are starting to redistrict communities in a way that was close to gerrymandering which is when you specifically take and tailor a particular district just to have one outcome of a one party or the other.
