How I Came to Invest in X Cubed Capital
Chris Bemis is co-founder of X cubed capital out there in Minneapolis. He has a PhD in applied math and worked for GMAC RFC before setting up his own firm. Chris says he was always interested in financial application, but didn't know exactly what it would lead him to do at the time. After working with Andy directly after my PhD, actually, slightly before I defended that, we started having conversations about what might be interesting. And like you said, we're very quantitatively informed, which we tend to say something like quantitative rigor instead of a quant fund.
