The More You Apply Pressure, the Less You're Going to Have.
When we make it comfortable for the other person to say no, we're withdrawing any kind of pressure. Because we withdraw the pressure, they withdraw resistance. And so if they have any inclination to say yes, they're more likely to say yes when we made it comfortable for them to say no. That's a big part of the magic that happens when you practice saying no.
