The database is designed to run in the cloud, but the database also runs in an embedded mode and or in the browser. So you can actually run it in your browser and run it on top of index DB using index DB as a key value store. You'll be able to support writing plugins or custom code in JavaScript or TypeScript and also WebAssembly. And I think that's another note. The way you actually communicate with the database, I mean, that's using some custom kind of method. That's what it's actually using like REST based or there's different kinds of ways of GraphQL based also.
