In Germany the royal rights transfer not to an institution, but to individuals based on rank. The Reichstag despite over 300 years of existence did not become the nucleus of a democratic Germany. I have my views about why and how that happened, but if I have learned one thing over the last 82 episodes, it is to keep my mouth shut until I have properly researched a topic.
