The Base Rate of Disease in Young Females
This is an uncommon chief concern that we see in primary care clinic, a young female coming in with a breast lump. The things that you would definitely want to know in this patient is family history. She's not having any of those signs or symptoms of fevers or chills or any erythema to the area. So definitely cancers is there on our differential. And it would be interesting when we actually get a chance to kind of examine her and see where is this lump located.
