The Importance of a Short Introduction

We wanted to re-mythologize the IMF and that idea of giving Ethan a very simple introduction. We used to have a much more ambitious mission briefing style, but we wanted to keep it super simple with just photographs. And then of course, the self-destruct happens inside the food delivery bag, which is quite fun. It's actually the original show, part of the fun of it was always how is Jim Phelps or Dan Briggs? How is he ever going to get the mission? He's going in a record shop or he's going to meet somebody on the roof of a building... So it was always kind of fun.
