Is This What We're Building?
In nature, on an old planet like ours, almost all the natrally coing element is those stable or long half lie versions. So is this what we're building? Machines out of stone and radio ice topes with longer lives? Possibly. It's not a bad option. Stone is durable and generally against radiation too, and cheap. Radio ice topes are weaker as power sources the longer live they are. But there is quite a few with half lives in the million year range. They can be used a passively at gs radiostope, thoma generators, which are a type of nuclear battery. Their decay causes some heat to be produced, then generates electricity. In
