Liam Neeson's fear is a little bit paranoid in this movie. In reality she would arrive at the airport in Paris and rather than being set upon by kidnappers I think just no one would really care. Kimmy will experience culture shock it's not like the movies but she does persuade him to let her go and she arrives in Paris and what happens boom kidnapped immediately.
This episode is all about the film "Taken" starring Liam Neeson as an ex-CIA agent who uses his 'particular set of skills' to save his daughter who is kidnapped while on a trip to Paris. I'm slightly obsessed by this film - I find it gripping and exciting, but also quite ridiculous. In this episode I'd like to play you a classic moment from this film, and then talk about how I feel about the movie as a whole. For more information, click here http://wp.me/p4IuUx-1Wh
"I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."
