How to Bootstrap a Data Team in a Startup?
The newer companies definitely have an advantage because the technology has advanced so much right like today if I start up where to bootstrap the data team they have all the tools at their disposal. One of the challenges that smaller startups face and I've seen this both at Yelp and Robin when they were growing is you don't have mature processes for governance for for data which a larger company might have after decades.
