The Importance of Taking Politicians at Their Word
People get a job, they see the money taken out every what six months or so. The Social Security Administration sends them a write up in the mail that explains how much they'll get when they retire. There is no money there, which surprise exactly no one. Politicians wanted to spend it. But the more confounding part is that people think they have a right to this money. They don't.
