Is It All About Cast and Marketing?

I remember back in the day, the actor's job is to show up and do the work. And then it was the marketing's department to then market and promote the show. Now that's totally reversed because now we're required to promote the shows we're on,. The films we're on, self promotion to get audience members to watch. It's a lot. I mean, champagne problems, I'm fully aware, but it's an element that has really changed since I started this gig.
