Jane Eyre - The Mad Woman in the Attic

It's an archetype we haven't talked about a ton in the space of like 500 and whatever episodes. We haven't always find a new stuff. That's us. And yeah, you covered the connection to Jane Eyre that this is a an imagined backstory for the mad woman in the attic. I think it's been pointed out that the only things we know about that character in Jane Eyre are from Rochester or other like men that have enabled that imprisonment. So there's nothing in the text that like this necessarily, this is a pretty sly retcon or like expansion of the fiction.
