Eternal Darkness

Eternal Darkness is one of those games where if you go in knowing nothing you will have an amazing experience. I was part of a group within the IGDA looking at violence in video games because there was a lot of attacks on video games saying violent video games are creating violent behavior. So we went and said let's do these sanity effects. Let's try to frustrate people. And it was all within a Lovecraft perspective of sanity so it was just thematically with the game. A lot of Lovecraft homages and eternal time.
