The Moral Framework of Feminist Politics Has Disappeared
Feminism tends to arise in situations where kin groups are disintegrating. We deliberately displace young people from their kin groups, particularly when you have the residential university system as the norm. When you are displacing women from those protective contexts, you can see why feminist politics would arise as a response to that increased feeling of vulnerability. This is exactly the sort of situation where young women are acutely vulnerable.
